A tribute to the Don of Cricket | Sir Donald Bradman
Today is the 100th Anniversary of the true DON of cricket, Sir Donald Bradman. Considered to be many as the greatest run scoring machine, Sir Don retired from international cricket having a test batting average of 99.94 having got out for a DUCK in his last innings of an illustrious career spanned over 2 decades. Sir Don was the captain of “The Invincibles” team of 1948 where playing in English summer for consecutive 6 months, his team did not lose even a single match. And this was his last test series. All anybody who knows about cricket can do is Hail Sir Donald Bradman.
